Doing is better than saying. The Sharon Driving School was opened
this winter. After moving from Newton to the Sharon area, Gilli, as
experienced instructor of the Newton Auto Driving School, saw that
there was a need for a driving school in that region. Although there
already are a few schools providing driver education, it wasn't nearly
enough for the whole South Shore. She wasnt surprised by her
revelation, because the Newton Auto Driving School was
receiving a lot of requests from students in that area. Gilli and
Yakir Glukhovskiy, a father and daughter team, started their first
driving school in the center of Newton 5 years ago. And then, after
having the Newton Auto Driving School run with extremely good results,
they have decided that a new driving school is about to open in the
Sharon community. Teens from all around the South Shore area will
hopefully come, and successfully learn how to drive.
Gili inherited her passion for teaching and driving from her father,
a well-known driving instructor in the Newton and Boston area. Yakir
followed his love for this profession since the family moved to the
USA from Tallinn, Estonia, more than ten years ago. Having an entrepreneurial
spirit, he decided to interest Gilli in starting a driving school
of their own. After months of debating, Yakir finally convinced Gilli
that they should proceed with the idea of beginning a school. It went
through a lot of names and a lot of logos, but they finally settled
on something plain and simple, and that was how the Newton Auto Driving
School was born. The same plain and simple scheme gave birth to their
second child -The Sharon Auto Driving School.
Gilli thought it would be a lot more convenient for the students from
Sharon if there was a school located near their homes. This way they
could easily go to and enjoy learning to drive. As a rule Gilli and
Yakir begin and end the lessons near the homes of their students.
Considering that the instructors in the school are fluent in both
Russian and English, Sharon was also the right place for a school,
because the South Shore area is settled by a lot of people of Russian
descent.
To put it briefly, Gilli evaluated the area, and then started the
Sharon school. Literally, this was to be an easy ride, because this
was their second driving school and hopefully second success after
the great achievements of the Newton School. Students from all over
Boston come there, and enjoy coming, and continue to tell their friends
and families about Newton Auto. It is a great place to hang out and
make lots of lifelong friends, and yet, it got students to learn to
drive successfully and to enjoy driving. Gilli hopes to have the same
result in Sharon. Unlike the many others driving schools Gilli and
Yakir let their students drive the car from the first lesson. There
are also studies in a classroom, but the students learn more quickly,
if they are at the wheel from the beginning, says Gilli. She
adds the motto of their teaching team: Our experience is their
safety. Not just teens, but people of all ages over 16 appreciate
this practice. In fact, 98% of their students pass their road tests
on the first try and continue to be safe drivers. The classes are
fun, practical, and yet, educational.
The Sharon Auto Driving School has lots of current materials, cars.
The material includes brand new VMS videos and DVD's and readings
from the most recent driver education books. The students feel safer
than ever in the new dual break cars, which also have all the latest
car technology.
"Our commitment to our students is higher than average and we
care about every student, no matter what, and we are committed to
helping every student pass with flying colors," Gilli says, "From
the moment they get their permit and come to us, until they pass the
road test, we will be right next to our students supporting them fully.
We hope that people will come or call us at the new Sharon Auto Driving
School.
They are coming. They are calling. It seems
that Gilli chose the right time and has found the right place for
teaching how to drive in the neighborhood. Welcome to Sharon. Welcome
to the new Sharon Driving School.
